Lot Name: GlassCubed_2BR_NCC
Original Build Date: 2013
Last Update: 11Jul2022
Lot Description: A glass house where none of the interior walls touch any of the exterior glass walls.
Tested, functional, and never occupied.
No Custom Content
# of Sims: Will accommodate 4 Sims with pets
# of Bedrooms: 2
# of Bathrooms: 1 full, 1 half
# of Parking: 2
Additional Features: Swimming pool, spa, office space, hobby space, spare space to use as needed, 4 fruit trees, barbecue area, fireplace.
Furnishings: Fully furnished except small spare space
Common Area Amenities: N/A
Apartment Price/Range: N/A
Lot Value: $155,335
Lot Size: 40x40
CFE Used: None
Notes:
* Optionally, players can install a custom content invisible fence and gate across the driveway and pedestrian entry areas to keep unwanted Sims and pets out of the yard. Alternatively, players can delete the entire existing fence across the front of the Lot and replace it with a custom invisible fence and gate to achieve a more open look. This one works fine: modthesims.info/d/179868/invisible-fence-and-gate-request.html
* The litterbox is placed 1/4-tile out from under the stairs to remain functional without obstructing the hallway.
* Since none of the interior walls touch any of the exterior glass walls, each of the three main floors are large, open spaces. For this reason, I divided certain areas on the top two floors using Maxis' "Great Divide" fencing in order to allow separate lighting and noise control.
* Attempting to move the fireplace will result in the chimney protruding through the roof, which cannot be undone using the in-game "Undo" function and would require a somewhat elaborate procedure to fix. Therefore, unless the player wants to experiment on the behavior of Maxis fireplace chimneys for 5 or 10 minutes, I would suggest not moving the fireplace. Experienced Lot makers will know what I'm talking about. Considering the floor plans of the living room and bedrooms, there really is no other place for the fireplace anyway.
